The scenic 2,711-acre Horsetooth Mountain Open Space (consisting of Culver, Soderberg, and Hughey Open Spaces) covers elevations from 5,430 to 7,255 feet. Its 29 miles of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails connect to the Blue Sky Trail and Lory State Park trails.

Six and one-half miles of water beckon visitors to come out and play! Surrounded by 1,900 acres of public lands, this reservoir has it all: fishing, boating, picnicking, swimming, scuba diving, rock climbing, and water skiing.
Backcountry Skiing

The cabin is a great place to stay if you enjoy backcountry skiing. Cameron pass is located just 75 minutes up the Poudre Canyon where incredible skiing awaits. With no approach, and thousands of acres to explore, you'll find all levels of challenges, extreme to easy.

The beautiful Poudre River is just 15 minutes from our door. You'll have access to miles of river and opportunities for rainbow, cuthroat and brook trout abound. Check in with St. Peters fly shop to get the latest gear and flies.

Head out directly from the cabin to find steep, winding climbs that will take you around reservoirs, up mountains and through breathtaking canyons. Or ride the flats and rollers to enjoy the country setting and greta views of the foothills and plains. MORE

STUNNING SCENERY, HIKES AND WILDLIFE
Located just 60 minutes from the Cabin, access some of the most beautiful terrain Colorado has to offer. Summer or Winter, the Park is not to be missed. Drive over 13,000' Trail Ridge Road or visit Bear Lake for a breathtaking hike while gazing at Elk along the way. MORE

The Poudre is well known for it's variety of rapids and abundance of family friendly rafting options. From Category IV rapids to gentler waters, you'll enjoy the beauty of the canyon that only a raft can provide.
